SANTAL DAN SHA is encapsulated in the iconic and distinctive ARMANI/PRIVÉ Les Eaux square bottle, timelessly elegant and topped by a shiny black lacquered cap. Its intense ochre juice, is inspired by the rich red color of sandalwood, and echoing the lacquered, cinnabar-toned wood that characterizes Chinese palaces’ architecture. The fragrance’s name is delicately adorned in black lettering on the flacon’s shiny gold plate.
For clarity and to better reflect their high concentration, our fragrances in 'Les Eaux' range will now be labelled as “Eau de Parfum” instead of “Eau de Toilette”. To evoke the magnificent sunrise over imperial gardens in SANTAL DĀN SHĀ, Fabrice Pellgrin masterfully blended bright bergamot and spicy cardamom with a deep, unctuous sandalwood. The result mirrors the vibrant sunlight reflecting on majestic cinnabar-colored walls, capturing the unique hue of the sandalwood itself.
In SANTAL DĀN SHĀ, New Caledonian sandalwood is carefully distilled with fractional process, to extract a Heart essential oil, delivering a powerfully creamy, textured woodiness, that echoes the majestic sensations of the Chinese imperial palace landscape, bringing depth and comfort to our fragrance.

A refined Calabrian bergamot heart, extracted and purified by fractionation to capture its brightest facets and unique freshness.
SANDALWOOD
A noble sandalwood heart from new Caledonia, reavealing a powerful, envelopping woody note with velvety facets.
CARDAMOM
Obtained trough CO₂ supercritial extraction method, allowing to keep only the spicy green-facets of the cardamom without its camphoraceous roughness.
